Who is DeepRest for?

For anyone who works, studies or writes in blocks and wants the timer and the background sound in one app. The rhythm is preset, so you only press start.

What does DeepRest cost?

The app is free: timer, four sounds, session alerts and today’s stats. DeepRest Pro is an optional monthly or yearly subscription and adds the other eight sounds, custom timer lengths, weekly stats and the daily reminder. The price is shown in the store.

How does DeepRest make money?

Only through the optional Pro subscription. There are no ads in the app and no data is sold.

Where can I get DeepRest?

Not yet, to be honest: the app is finished, but it is not published in Google Play or the App Store. The newsletter tells you when the release happens.

How does the 25/5 focus rhythm work?

Working in fixed blocks: 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute break, and a 15-minute long break after four blocks. DeepRest keeps the clock and switches the phases for you.

Do the sounds work offline?

Yes. All 12 sounds ship inside the app — no connection, no streaming, no data usage.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up. Sessions, stats and settings stay on your device.

Can I cancel Pro at any time?

Yes. The subscription is managed in your Google Play or App Store account and can be cancelled there at any time.

Is DeepRest medical advice?

No. DeepRest is a timer with sounds — a working tool, not a health product. It does not diagnose or treat anything and is no substitute for medical advice.

Which languages does the app speak?

English and German. The app follows the language of your phone, and the screenshots on this page switch with it.
